McMillen, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Recruiting Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, specializing in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier construction professionals and skilled craft workers. Your expertise will ensure our company has the talent necessary to meet project demands and maintain operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers for construction-related roles.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract skilled professionals, including leveraging job boards, industry networks, and referrals.
- Assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit to meet the needs of the organization and specific project requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, provide updates, and offer guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, state/federal regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on construction professionals and craft positions.
- Familiarity with the construction industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to overcoming recruiting challenges and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience recruiting for both salaried and hourly craft positions.
- Knowledge of labor laws and workforce compliance in the construction industry.
Compensation Package:
- Pay Range: $27.28 - $35.90 hr (DOE)
